How the HELL can I take a screen cap of a movie if when I try to paste what I "Prt Sc" into a paint document (so I can save the image as a jpg or gif) the image only gets saved as TOTAL BLACKNESS!?!

I had the same problem so I installed PowerDVD, with which I can do that. It isn't free, but as I recall it doesn't cost too much.
