Actually, I found that most of Jack's decisions were in character. Sure the schtick with the crazy multiple personalities was ridiculous and made me want to shoot myself in the head, but for Jack to be caught up in the crap as he was, I agree with the character's decisions.
Oh, and the reason that the fight was so boring was because it was a wedding. It made me want to kill myself.
