Ok, for those of you who are within a commuting distance of NYC, I has some event pimping to do! If you can you should totally come, because I assure you a splendid time is guaranteed for all!

First up, singealiene is part of an all-female accordion orchestra called "Main Squeeze", and you don't think such a thing as an all female accordion orchestra is AMAZING...you are DEAD to me.

But anywho, they have a show on THURSDAY, APRIL 24 at 8:00 PM at The Zipper Factory. For tickets, go to www.thezipperfactory.com or call 212.352.3101. It's $15 dollars VERY well spent, and then you'd get to see the marvel that is Walter their orchestra leader!

But the orchestra is amazing, the songs they play are fun, AND if you come, you hear singealiene and Walter sing "The Ballad of the Pimp" from Threepenny Opera in it's original German! What's not to love!



And, the NEXT day, there's Swing Dancing at the Brooklyn Bridge, This Friday, at 7 PM!!

That's right, it's that time of the year for the NYU and Columbia Swing Clubs...Just before the doom of finals, we swing dance our blues away on the Fulton Ferry Landing, under the Brooklyn Bridge and with the downtown Manhattan skyline lighting our way.


SO COME!!! I'm actually going to be in the city, DOING THINGS that are completely unrelated to work, and you should do them with me!
