2) What was your dream growing up?
A. Er...which one? I still have trouble making my goals realistic; when I was younger I constantly assumed it would only take a year or two before I was a writing prodigy/genius architect/filmmaker/singer-songwriter, with an option being stolen by fairies. I'm not sure I've made much of a dent in "growing up," to be honest.
3) What talent do you wish you had?
A. I'd like to be able to fly. Oh, wait, actual possible talent? I'd like to be better at the visual arts.
4) If I bought you a drink what would it be?
A. Depends where we were. In a fancy bar, a brandy alexander. In a dive bar, a straight bourbon (Maker's Mark, preferably) and a glass of ice water. At a club, a shot of tequila. The morning after too much tequila, bourbon or brandy, a ginger ale. I could keep going with this.
5) Favorite vegetable?
A. Artichoke.
6) What was the last book you read?
A. Gypsy Rose Lee's autobiography.
7) What zodiac sign are you?
A. Scorpio.
8) Any Tattoos and/or Piercings? Explain where.
A. Just the singly-pierced ears. Very vanilla.
9) Worst Habit?
A. Procrastination. (She typed, filling out a meme instead of working...)
10) If you saw me walking down the street would you offer me a ride?
A. ...Assuming I was in a car? And I had met you in person before and recognized you? 'Cause otherwise that's creepy.
Possibly. I'd certainly wave, and if I wasn't in a godawful rush and you just seemed to be wandering I might pull over and chat; if you then said you were on your way someplace I could take you, then sure. But as a default I assume people are busy doing their own thing and am hesitant about hassling them.
11) What is your favorite sport?
A. Climbing trees.
12) Do you have a Negative or Optimistic attitude?
A. Optimistic, in that "completely unrealistic" way. See #1. Pessimistic for a lot of day-to-day stuff.
13) What would you do if you were stuck in an elevator with me?
A. Jammer on with stories of other times I've been stuck in an elevator or otherwise in an awkward position.
14) Worst thing to ever happen to you?
A. ...Nothing comes to mind that wouldn't be either (a) really complicated to explain, or (b) not really something I want to talk about in a meme.

A. Ibuprofen makes me hallucinate.

A. A dog I look after on a time-share basis.

A. I'd say hi, in a mildly surprised but pleased fashion, invite you in, offer you a drink, and ask what was up.

A. Depends on the clown.

A. I could really stand to lose a few bra sizes.

A. Olive green, which looks brown if you're standing more than four feet away.

A. Glass bottles are nice.

A. Boggle. Pay off a few debts and buy people presents. Buy a lot of books.

A. In theory. I don't know that I believe in a lot of the people who believe in ghosts.

A. Read.

A. To be a nun who ran an orphanage

A. Conflict management (my own and/or others’. I’d honestly prefer others’)
4) If I bought you a drink what would it be?
A. It depends on my mood. It might be a beer (possibly Heineken, Sam Adams), it could be a martini, or I might want you to pick me something I’ve never had before (I’m bad at trying new things, even though I want to, so I need a little nudge in the right direction)
5) Favorite vegetable?
A. Broccoli. Carrots come in second, although not too closely. Corn is next.
6) What was the last book you read?
A. Till We Have Faces by CS Lewis. I’m currently reading The Onion Girl by Charles DeLint.

A. Sag

A. None whatsoever. I’ve never had my ears pierced. It’s not because of fear. It’s more just the concept that I hate doing something if everyone else does it, or expects me to do it.

A. Not keeping in touch with old friends.

A. If I had a car, sure. Otherwise, I’d offer to walk with you for a while.

A. To play, would have been soccer, but I don’t know so much anymore. To watch, I’d have to say football. I really only watch the SuperBowl, but boy if your talking, I’m getting annoyed.

A. *rolls eyes* I haven’t been a relationship period since the beginning of freshman year of college, and though at times I recall it with some longing for the good old days, I’m in no hurry to jump into another…if a 5 year dry spell can’t attest to that. I’m constantly falling head over heels for people, but I know better than to try for it--the infatuation will pass. One of Nature’s Bachelors I am.
2) What was your dream growing up?
A. Good God, I had so many, I’ll try to pick just one. I wanted to be an actress. Boring and common, I know, but I really did. And I wanted to be a comedic sort of actress, an Abott&Costello sort, the sort you’d see in a black and white movie. I mean, I still rather DO, but now I have my career and other things to distract me ^_^
3) What talent do you wish you had?
A. Many, many, many. I am a jack of all trades, master of none. I’d LOVE it if I was a far more graceful person, better at dancing and movement. That, and an ability to actually MASTER a foreign language. My jealous of the proficiency of some of my friends is PROFOUND.
4) If I bought you a drink what would it be?
A. Well, I suppose it depends. The traditional answer is beer, but since the weather’s gotten warmer, I’d have to say a Long Island Ice Tea (I have strange, seasonal desires for food and drink, which, once I explain WHY I desire them, actually make a lot of sense)
5) Favorite vegetable?
A. I’m torn. I love so many of them. I do so love carrots, but I’ve always been very fond of cooked zucchini as well.
6) What was the last book you read?
A. *ponders* Pretty certain it was “Face of a Stranger”. I think you recced it to me, actually.

A. Just my ears. But even then, I have to keep making sure they aren’t closed on me…I RARELY wear earrings. But I try to keep the holes open, just in case.

A. I continually and successfully procrasti-fuck myself over and over again. I REALLY need to find myself a work ethic, and stop being so creatively and work-relatedly lazy/flighty. Too much of a dreamer, me, not much of a doer.

A. Well, as we only know eachother on the internet, I'd have to say, no, sorry. ^_^

A. Sport? What is this thing you call, ‘sport’?

A. Is it possible to be negatively optimistic? Or more like, optimistically negative? Like, I very cheerfully concede that something awful/uncomfortable/general bad is BOUND to happen and will happen and Murphy’s Law etc etc, but that surely it will pass and we’ll get back to the sunshine and daisies and laughter and all that jazz.
13) What would you do if you were stuck in an elevator with me?
A. Talk, mostly. If I got really bored, I’d probably start singing, until you told me to shut up. And then I’d try to hum in my head, which would only come out as humming aloud, which would probably get me another ‘shut up!”
14) Worst thing to ever happen to you?
A. When my friend JB died. He was only 20. It torn me up, nearly ruined my academic career, and I’m STILL carrying far more emotional baggage from it then sometimes I can bear.
15) Tell me one weird fact about you.
A. I have a birthmark on the side of my stomach that is raspberry colored, roughly strawberry shaped, and EVERYONE who’s ever seen it thinks it’s a horrible bruise or something. I myself am rather fond of it, always have been too.

A. Depends on the clown. Generally scary though. I prefer un-make-uped jesters over clowns.

A. I suppose just a little less fleshy over all.

A. I’m a very age-conscience/person-conscience swearer. I don’t swear around kids or people I know to be uncomfortable with swearing. However, every where else I’m like a fucking sailor. Which I was. In high school. Ah, the good old days.

A. I try not to irrationally hate anyone. I try to be polite, and try to never demean a person. I especially try to be exceedingly patient with people. But sometimes, I find myself faced with some people so shallow, and vapid, and contrary to everything I hold dear, that I have to run away before I get really nasty. Just…GAH GET OUT OF MY GENE POOL!!!

A. Sophomoric.

A. I…THINK I do. I also roll my eyes when I think it’s getting laid on a little too think. I don’t like an obsession with romance.
