Happy St Patrick's Day! Go forth and contemplate the deceptively simple refutation of the Arian heresy over a shamrock and a pint, kick some snakes out of Ireland, accidentally make a nun a bishop (well, that was Saint Mel methinks), return to the country that enslaved you in an attempt to convert its' people to the religion you found while you were there the first time around (no hard feelings, guys!), send an angry letter to a British king in which you condemn him and his soldiers as compatriots of the demons for their wanton slaughter of YOUR Irishmen, and give a big "FUCK YOU" to hoity-toity bishops everywhere by rubbing elbows with the common-as-dirt non-Christians and Christians alike around you.
In other words, be like Patrick, the crazy Roman-Brit whom Ireland deemed her own.
To Saint Patrick!—who has the dubious honor of being so engrained within the very streets and sidewalks and soul of my city, and yet has been so foolishly misappropriated that you can get on a subway at 8 am and have to worry some drunk asshole will puke all over you (luckily not me, someone else at work).
