SONGS FOR CHRISTMAS (9 of 12)

Any one else here like the O. Henry short story "The Gift of the Magi" (I'm pretty sure that's the title)? That story always make me giggle in an inappropriate manner--I find the fact that the couple sell the very thing that makes the present they buy for the other person useless rather hilarious. Though I always thought the guy had the rawer of the deals--hell, his wife's hair is going to grow back, but he's still watchless. Oh well. C'est le vive.
