ink_n_impI WILL, at one point in my life, preferably next summer, go to dig in the Jamestown field school for course credit. You know, that place in Virginia that gave me an archaeological ORGASM when I visited it at the tender age of 11.
They were still digging out the outline of the original fort then. And now, they're digging up the earliest cemeteries and the northern bulwark and civil war remains--
