There's one writer that's done the equilivant of nano like, 5 times over, and that was just her first roy/ed fic. The sequal is equally as epic.
...but then, she's funny as hell and I adore her Al, and she's made Ed a teacher (so imagine an older Ed terrorizing/being idolized by 13 13year olds) so, though obsessive, I kinda like it.
But yea, I got the pic of Hughes from a doujinshi where Roy and Ed are having hot desk sex and Hughes walks in on them. And then, the last page is Hughes, writing about it. It was QUITE hilarious.
...of course, that means I'm admitting to having read a doujinshi where Roy and Ed have hot desk sex and Hughes walks in on them.
...I've drawn art for her (art being ENTIRELY subjective of course), I love her story arc so. And I've written crack drabbles for her too. But DAMN, sky_dark can punch word count out like it's no one's business!
I'm loving reading that fic, and the Roy Mustang, Sex Ed Teacher prequel.
Sky_dark does have amazing word count, but her tenses keep switching up, which is somewhat disorienting. But the plot's all good, so I'm happy.
So...is there some secret stash of these fics where they're done in their entirety? Or am I just going to have to wait for new chapters every week or so?
That fic makes me feel warm and gooey on the inside. It is my very favorite FMA fic.
And no, alas. For BLTA, I just have to keep hitting her lj in the hopes she's updated. Maybe in some mystical other demention we could get our hands on the rest, but still have to work out the logistics of that.
She hasn't updated her lj for a few days, which is shocking, she rips out new chapters/lj posts THAT fast. But, she says that ch. 13 has eaten her brain. In fact, I think it consumed a lot of brains and left a lot of readers (like me) gibbering, drooling messes.
*sigh* at least she's amazingly dedicated towards updating. I think I'd die if she updated fics like I do. ^_^;;
You are scaring me. Remember that fan-girling is a dangerous pasttime. You fall down that hole all that is left for you is to hole up in your basement with an x-box and dvds and develop your own language. Just imagine how your mother will weep...er....how your mother will beat you around the head, and talk about you to my mom. Thats a dark dark place nella. One I am afraid we will experience should you spend an entire month writing about anime characters.
1) I have no Xbox, or a basement, except the weekends I'm home.
2) I get to fangirl over anime with the boys upstairs. In fact, I find that the minute I say "Oh yea, I love anime" suddenly a LOT of boys want to talk to me. It's a nice change of pace.
3) I already have my own language. It's called "Antonella-sucks-at-the-english"ese
4) My mother has resigned herself to my fate.
5) I'm not the one doing the writing about anime characters. I read the writing, and then I draw them.
You see, it's not THAT bad!
^_^
Admit it Erin. If I didn't have anime etc, I'd just be a fangirl of myself. And that's narcissism.
