Well, once again I have been a productive little wench…the problem, as usual, being I've been productive in the completely inappropriate venture. I SHOULD be writing the skits for Friday (some progress HAS been made, seriously!), but today during after-care I finished "The Apartment of the Apocalypse", and picture I've been meaning to draw since this post.

Several Revelations came to light thanks to this drawing. One, I have an army of honorary gay boyfriends under the age of 10. Two, Colored pencils are fun. Three, I am going straight to hell on the first departing hand basket.

First things first, Click HERE for the picture! (the large view in necessary).

1) The Cast of Characters is as follows: [livejournal.com profile] cherrysher is Famine, [livejournal.com profile] muneybags6 is War, [livejournal.com profile] singealiene is Death, and I, [livejournal.com profile] ink_n_imp, am Pestilence.

2) We have a LONG, LONG history of creating and playing Drinking Games. Our most infamous and hilarious one is our "Disney's Hercules Drinking Game".

3) The visual cues of the four horsemen is as follows: Famine=black, War=red, Death=white, and Pestilence isn't ACTUALLY mentioned in Revelations, but in this picture follows the tradition of stealing a sickly green color from Death. (The color is translated into English as "pale", but the Greek word means a sickly, deathly greenish ting. So THERE!)

4) The original sketch included text bubbles of us cheering over things like Avian Flu and countries blowing up and global warning causing desertification. This made me contemplate ACTAULLY creating a mock drinking game for CNN or some likewise news station, but I think my hand basket to hell is crowded enough as is, thankee kindly!

5) As you can see, Famine's boots are colored purple and salmon. There is a very good reason for this. A VERY, VERY good reason:

A. I was coloring this picture in while I was watching the kids at after-care at my camp.
B. Sitting with me, were B, G, and Q. (Good lord, I'm sounding like the Major, but for their sakes, I'm just using their first initial)
C. B, G, and Q are watching me color the drawing. They are between the ages of 7-9 and are duly impressed.
D. B, or G--I can't remember because they are brothers and look identical, but remember, they are between ages of 7-9--ask why I haven't colored in Famine's go-go boots.
E. I say I'll color them later.
F. I double take, and demand to know if he just called them go-go boots.
G. B/G snobbishly comments that of COURSE they are go-go boots.
H. I am appropriately shocked and amused at the same time.
I. Q comments now that they look like Daphne's go-go boots fromScooby Doo
J. As Q is my drama bitch, I already knew he was my honorary gay boyfriend so I think nothing of this.
K. B or G tells me to color them with a strip of pink at the top, purple at the bottom.
L. Now, I'm just floored.
M. B or G NOW proceeds to pick out the colors for me from the colored pencil box. Purple and Salmon are chosen.
N. I meekly comply.
O. B and G are added to my army roster of honorary gay boyfriends under the age of 10.

It's late, and I have little else to report besides that.
