ink_n_impSo, the more I reflect on "Spamalot", the more I absolutely adore it and want to see it again. It was "Threepenny Opera" only without the bitter and more like a vaudeville/burlesque show. I mean, they spoofed the goddamn bottle dance from "Fiddler on the Roof", which just means they OWN. Hard.
I'm in a creative slump. I want to write or draw, just do SOMETHING, but I can't think of anything besides "meh". No me gusta.
Oh, got an email from the NYU Swing Club: Supposedly, this Sunday Columbia University is hosting a swing dance in Central Park at the 72nd Street bandshell.
To reiterate: Sunday, September 3rd. 3pm. Central Park 72nd St bandshell.
Tammy and I are going to check it out. You should all come too. You know you want too! Where else are you going to get a chance to listen to some swing and get your groove on and do that voodoo that you do so well!? SO COME!!
