That book clubbed my over the head and stole my heart. I thought Sam Vimes was my favorite character BEFORE Night Watch--post-Night Watch, I am a Total and Absolute Sammie.

And besides, how can you NOT love a book that blows a huge, humerous, and yet still very poignant raspberry at Le Mis?

Forgive the Jarvert Icon--I felt 'twas the most fitting one.
