I'M ALL A-FLUTTER!

ink_n_impSO! Not only was I hired full time by my work place on Friday, AND promoted to OFFICE MANAGER (ZOMG WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA???) which means WAY more pay and hours (...and yes, more responsibilities, but whatever, BRING IT!), but today I was asked to the the GODMOTHER of my friends' son.
ME. A GODMOTHER.
THIS IS SO MUCH MORE EXCITING THAN IF SOMEONE HAD ASKED ME TO BE THEIR MAID OF HONOR OR SOMETHING. This is really saying "Nella, we want you in our lives, and in our son's life"--and I am beside myself with excitement. I AM GOING TO BE THE MOST AWESOMEST OF GODMOTHERS. EVER.
YEA, SO? BEST WEEKEND. EVER?
SIDENOTE: I'm babysitting said son right now, as this weekend was their one-year wedding anniversy, and my present to them was to babysit so they could have some mommy and daddy time (^_^)--
And I must be too awesome of a babysitter, because little Liam just Didn't. Want. To go. To bed. He's finally asleep now, though it is WELL past his bed time!
Oh, and FYI--bouncing a baby on your knee while singing the theme song from the TV show 'Bonanza'--it works like a CHARM to stop their crying. Who'dathunk?
