ink_n_imp | What a week, what a week!

However, now I'm sick with the chills, which although I have no themometer to back this up, usually translates into "Nella's got a fever". So, it's been a lazy Sunday for me, one of tea and the Invader Zim Christmas episode (*sings* BOW DOWN! BOW DOWN! BEFOOOORE THE POWER OF SANTA! OR BE CRUSHED! BE CRUSHED! BYYYYYYYY! HIS JOLLY BOOTS OF DOOM!) and thinking about how I really need to go food shopping but how I'd really rather not venture outside.

But my weekend has consisted of going down the rabbit hole that is the MTA subway system(short of the long, Liz and I were trying to get back to Water St. after Frim Fram Thursday night/Friday morning, and ended up in Brooklyn, after nearly witnessing two fights nearly go down in our subway car. And rather than depend on the MTA to get us home, once we returned to Manhattan, we got off at the Manhattan bridge and walked home. Could have been worse, but for ONCE I'd like to take a subway late at night and actually end up close to home.) and helping Finke with his short film.

I have always suspected this, but filming requires a lot of standing or sitting around in total silence. Though we were filming in a church on 29th st, and one of the actors was wearing rollar skates, which made the filming all sorts of cool. Definitely an experience I'd like to participate in again, except with less total ignorance (what, I'm an arch/forensic student! We don't FILM. Filming's what our cultural anthro. brethen do!) I wish I could have headed up to 189th st to help Finke today, but not with chills. Nope. Sorry Jon.

*kicks heater* How come the heaters never work in Water St! WHY!?!

and on a completely different note: I was thinking of uploading 12 of my favorite Christmasy type songs for you all to yoink and what not. Anyone game? I'd start uploading them around the 12th, one per day, and that means the last one would be posted the 23th. I think this could be a lot of fun, and about the closest I'm going to get to the Christmas spirit, aside from the AMAZING masquerade/Cabaret christmas party some friends of mine are hosting.
