Well, well, well, this is a rather appropriate song for my day. I've had one of THOSE sort of days: it was dreary, drizzly, I've been feeling crummy all day, and I spend the majority of it (the day, that is) finishing up a paper for Barbarian Europe. By the time I walked out of the computer lab, it was dark outside on top of that.

That's right, song number two is probably the grittest and greatest Christmas in New York City song that has ever graced this blessed earth;

2) Fairytale of New York by the Pogues

This song should be depressing...but it just makes me all warm and cuddly inside. It comes out of the cage spitting and snarling, but it's an old romantic softie at heart, and I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do.
