12 SONGS FOR CHRISTMAS (6 of 12)
Dec. 17th, 2006 04:58 pmThe party last night was positively all sorts of awesome: pictures will be linked accordingly depending on when
singealiene posts them. Pictures, might I add, that will BLOW YOUR MIND.
In other news:
1) The movie Lawrence of Arabia has blown my frickin' mind, and with two papers to write and a Forensic Anthro final to study for, that is a VERY VERY BAD THING. Ow. That movie. How can something make you feel so good and then hurt so BAD?!
2) Some kind soul has begun uploading episodes from the "Adventures of Sherlock Holmes" starring Jeremy Brett on Youtube!! Right now, this k. s. has uploaded "The Dancing Men" and "The Speckled Band" so check them out!!
3) To go to Bobst to rewatch "Paris is Burning", or not to go to Bobst, that is the question; Can I write 1000 words on what I remember and by wiki'ing the people that were in it should I need a name? Or should I go? Or should I not bother, as that paper is only 10% of my grade?
Meh, not worth it.
4) Why, it's the sixth song of the 12 Songs for Christmas! In fact, one of the few songs that makes me all warm and cozy inside in regards to Christmas: just listen to Jack's wonder, his joy, his utter confusion!
That's right, the next on my Christmas list is:
6) What's This? from The Nightmare Before Christmas
And yes. In my book, The Nightmare Before Christmas IS a Christmas movie, and the most totally awesome of Christmas movies.

Date: 2006-12-18 03:23 am (UTC)Of course, there is that one Laurie R. King book where (even though Sherlock is married...MARRIED, MARRIED PEOPLE!! Some that, all that I liked the King books, I never quite got over) there is a fun but far to short Lawrence cameo. After watching "Lawrence of Arabia", I really want to reread just that part so I can cast Peter O'Toole and Jeremy Brett accordingly and sit back in fangirly glee.

Date: 2006-12-18 03:42 am (UTC)Er, if I recall correctly, I had scolded you into watching LofA ASAP, that the Adventures of the Dancing Men (http://youtube.com/watch?v=vpGMVizNqZY) was were Holmes and Watson were adorkable in the first 10 minutes, and that Psmith is the most insanely appropriate "villian" for the Bertie and Jeeves have superpowers AU, and if I don't see you online in like, a week, I may have to compose a treatise on why that is and email it to you.
...yep, that's about the jist of it. ^_^
