THANKS!!!

Mar. 27th, 2006 06:27 pm
I just want to give a big old THANKS to everyone who called/messaged me to wish me a happy birthday. It really meant a lot guys ^_^ I felt the love. OH did I feel the love.

But alas, I have caught something from this weekend, so instead of recapping this weekend of GLORY, I'm going to go and screw up my courage and prepare to go to Duane Reade to get Tylenol (extra strength and PM) and cough drops. Even though I'm shaking harder than a crack whore who needs her next fix. Fucking chills. WHY should anyone feel so cold they are shaking uncontrollable even though they are running a fever? DAMNIT BODY, make SENSE!!!

Oh, and I am the soon to be proud owner of "The Complete Jeeves and Wooster" box set. I long. I LONG.

EDIT!!!!!!

A real life opening to the Simpsons?!?!?! BOO YEA!!!!
...And that day I only slept from 6am to 12pm.

I am ILL. Not nauseatingly so like Lindsay's been, but Sick none the less. If I mat draw your attention to the time of this post, you will see it is in the vicinity of 6:30AM. The last time I managed to sleep was at 7:30pm, where I peacefully slept until 9:30PM. And I've been up since. In fact, around 5:30am, my breathing was so labored and my head ached so fiercely I began crying. You know it's bad when I start crying. Like, falling between two docks and smacking my pubic bone at sailing, or hitting a tree while sledding which resulting in a broken rib or watching the scene where Bambi's mother gets shot (though there I only tear up and sniffle). I've got Dave Hoover praying for my health, cause if I don't see a doctor tomorrow and start feeling better, NO KIAROS FOR 'NELLA. I'm sorry, but I'll just have to reflect on God in the privacy of my own dorm room. Or, at peaceful St. James, where the air DOESN'T destroy my lungs with pollution.

(Bronchitis is the WORST thing to have in the city. There's no moisture in the air in the winter and you can FEEL the grit cake up in you bronchial tubes. And I just KNOW i have bronchitis, cause it came JUST as fast and hurts JUST as much to breathe as the last time I had bronchitis.)

And now, a few short facts about BRONCHITIS!!! (Cause I've been watching WAAAAY too many WW2 Disney educational shorts.) )

Though, a warning. *Twilight zone theme plays.* Next time you go to the Broadway NYU Medical Center, Looking for some help and piece of mind, remember this: Not all insurances are equal, and you too might have to choose between Health and a Ridiculous Bill. For Blue Cross/Blue Shield is not excepted...

IN THE TWILIGHT ZONE.

WTF. HOW COULD NYU DECIDE NOT TO EXCEPT BC/BS!?!?!!? That's the fucking insurance that pays the MOST!!! NOOOOOOOO...NYU, as the giant, money grubbing monopoly that it is, only excepts NYU-sponsored Student Health Insurance Plans, No-Fault & Workers Compensation, and United Healthcare. SOOOO...THAT is why I haven't seen a doctor yet. I will have to go to the NYU downtown hospital down the street, but still....I am confused as to WHY that is SO. There must be SOMEONE out there that understands the politics of Health Care Insurance! Did BC/BS have an NYU doctor WHACKED or something?!? Did they bring an inappropriate present to NYU's Dinner party? Did BC/BS use NYU's toothbrush?!?

Fuck I'm sick. Ignore the above. I'm starting to hallucinate from lack of sleep. Honestly. I can see the geometry patterns my brain is projecting. My head hurts that much.

I KNOW at some point I must expound upon my AMAZING weekend at New Paltz, and WHY I can not play Resident Evil 1 (the remake) after Wyatt spoiled me by letting me play RE:4. The controls...they are SUPERIOR in RE:4!!! I killed more than one Ganados in RE:4, while in RE:1 the second zombie finished me off!!! And I had just found the defense knife too!!!! I tried to use it!! I TRIED!!!!!

GOD WYATT I TRIED!!!!!!!!

...After I-CON, RE:4 is MINE.

Cordially Yours,
'Nella
