Meme stolen from [livejournal.com profile] zekkass

Rules:

1. Clear your schedule for two minutes.
3. Then look under the cut tag, where you will find ten prompts, all of which are book titles (selected at random from my shelves/desk/whatever's lying around).
4. Choose one of the prompts, and - using any appropriate fandom/character[s] - write.
5. Reply with your teeny weeny story in the comments to this post.

Note: you are on your honor here. Don't look under the cut tag until you're ready to start writing. Feel free to fix the spelling or tidy up the formatting before hitting reply, but the point is to see what people come up with in two minutes (i.e., no multi-chapter epic romances. ;))

Oh, and do post it in your own journal later, so's I can reciprociate. 'Cause this is fun! :D

And the prompts (that will probably inspire some noir or something) ARE!... )

Me: ....I have NO idea how that happened.
[livejournal.com profile] mosellegreen : *G*
[livejournal.com profile] mosellegreen : You're just naturally evil.
Me: And no one suspects. Except for that damned, damned Dumbledore.
Me: But I have plans for him, oh yes...mwha. Mwhahahaha.

Now I just have to rearrange my name into a more foreboding and evil name, and I'm set!!

EDIT: After throwing out all of the repeating letters in my name, [livejournal.com profile] mosellegreen came up with "Sire Talon". I gave up around "Sir Leonta"...oh word games, how you thwart me.

Beware, Foolish Mortals, for Evil has a New Name!!!!

What American accent do you have?
Created by Xavier on Memegen.net

Midland. The Midland (please don't confuse with "Midwest") itself is the neutral zone between the North and South. But just because you have a Midland accent doesn't mean you're from there. Since it is considered a neutral, default, "non-regional" accent you could easily be from someplace without its own accent, like Florida, or a big city in the South like Dallas, Houston, or Atlanta.

Take this quiz now - it's easy!
We're going to start with "cot" and "caught." When you say those words do they sound the same or different?

The only problem with memes like this is that it gauges how I pronounce things when I'm THINKING about how I'm pronouncing them. I KNOW I can lay on a pretty thick Long Island accent with the best of them (or the worst of them, depending upon your views about Long Island) and I know I can drop that accent in a pinch.

Looks like it's going to be a walk across the Brooklyn Bridge for some Grimaldi's pizza with [livejournal.com profile] kathynancygirl after class today. WHEE!!!
My God, they are like potato chips...I had to force myself to stop...

They all seem rather...EMO though.

In other news, menstrual cycles make the snarky, evil evolutionist that lurks in my soul gaze upward to the heavens and yell:

"YOU CALL THIS INTELLIGENT DESIGN!?!?!!?!"
I've done this meme before many a time, but having seen it pop up again on my f-list, after [livejournal.com profile] lady_adams posted it and I just couldn't resist. Though, honestly, if no one wants to be interviewed in like, that is PERFECTLY fine with me.

1. Leave me a comment saying, "Interview me."
2. I respond by asking you five personal questions so I can get to know you better. If I already know you well, expect the questions may be a little more intimate.
3. You WILL update your LJ with the answers to the questions.
4. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the post.
5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions.

How to use your music library as a parody of bad movies.
Stolen from [livejournal.com profile] innocentsmith and slightly altered so it's not a soundtrack to a movie of my LIFE, but instead a sound track of a movie I created around the songs that popped up.

...I spent WAAAAAAAAAAAY to much time typing this out. Take with HUGE ASS grain of salt.

1. Open your library (iTunes, Winamp, Media Palyer, iPod, etc)
2. Put it on shuffle
3. Press play
4. For every horrible movie cliche, type the song that's playing with the given category
5. Don't lie and try to pretend you're cool.

And then here's the tough part:

6. Try to make them tell a coherent movie story line.

I giggled madly over how well some of the songs fit… )
BUT...until I get a full night of sleep, memes it is!!!

...And I'm from LONG ISLAND!!!...I guess all that theater in High School did me some good after all...

What American accent do you have?
Your Result: The Midland

"You have a Midland accent" is just another way of saying "you don't have an accent." You probably are from the Midland (Pennsylvania, southern Ohio, southern Indiana, southern Illinois, and Missouri) but then for all we know you could be from Florida or Charleston or one of those big southern cities like Atlanta or Dallas. You have a good voice for TV and radio.

Interview meme:

001: Leave me a comment saying, "Interview me."
002. I will respond by asking you five questions of a very intimate and creepily personal nature. Or not so creepy/personal.
003. You WILL update your LJ with the answers to the questions.
004. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the post.
005. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions.

I was interviewed by [livejournal.com profile] zekkass.
These be my responses… )
So, [livejournal.com profile] cherrysher has assigned me my letter, and I was easier to do than I thought, but I wish it was a tad more interesting. Ah well.

H is for 'Holy crap, fangirl much?' )

and on that note... )
Well, took my Anthro of Language exam...I am boggled by Kulick's belief that one can write 10 definitions and 3 essays in one hour and 15 minutes have have them be of any sort of WORTH. Needless to say, I won't be doing so well because regardless of the fact I was writing like a madwoman, I didn't really finish. Oh I answered all the questions, it was just by the last essay, it wasn't so much an essay as one page of unorganized factoids.

*sigh*

I've been tagged by [livejournal.com profile] lunar_wolf! CURSES!!

Once you are tagged you MUST write a blog about your 6 weird habits/things as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose the next six people to be tagged and list their names.

hrum....

1) I highly dislike eating in a movie theater. Highly. Drinking I am all for, especially if it's movie beer. But the whole popcorn/candy/meals thing? Unless I'm hungry or it's God's Own Cheese (you know the one, [livejournal.com profile] singealiene), I pass.

2) When I go home on the weekends, I watch "Bonanza" with my mother. Some times, my grandmother is there to watch it with us. Which is funny, cause she fangirl's Little Joe, and I fangirl Hoss. In fact, the three of us fangirl it all. Which when I think too hard on it, weirds me out.

...nothing like an old school western to bridge the age and language gap.

3) And before "Bonanza", old school Star Trek was the gap bridger. Damn, that feels like cheating though...er...oh! I've been accused of sounding like I'm reading from a script while talking to people. That's right...Nella talks like she's scripted.

4) I suck fandoms dry in a fast gluttony of fan art/fic/discussions, but once everything is exhausted, I move on til I find my new fandom to suck dry. Although, I do still check up on my old fandoms--I'm just no longer a rabid fangirl about it. I don't particularly LIKE it when that day comes, but I suppose it makes dealing with me a sight more tolerable.

5) I have never tried writing a slash fic, or a smut one. I dare not. I dream, but dare not.

6) I am an icey confectioneries FIEND. I have seasonal preferences and everything--ice creams in the winter, slurpees/icees/italian ices in the summer.

And now, I sentence the following to do the same!: [livejournal.com profile] always_dragon,
[livejournal.com profile] toddpage, [livejournal.com profile] singealiene, [livejournal.com profile] eliblues, [livejournal.com profile] neo_ninja and [livejournal.com profile] anpandaisfearr.
An AMAZING weekend this one was, with Threepenny Opera, and karaoke, and the Hercules drinking game, and Kingdom Hearts 2, and [profile] nae_trews!!!!!! It was EPIC, EPIC SAYS I!!!

....

[profile] singealiene just e-mailed me, reminding me of this old post of hers (scroll down to the comments), and how I somehow, in a fit of inspiration, channeled Hades ala James Woods from Disney's Hercules.

So, my lj friends, it's that time. That's right:

MEME TIME!!!!!!!

Mwha.  Mwhaha.

Leave a list of fictional characters in your journal that you would love to get a message from. It is your friend-list's mission, should they choose to accept it, to write you an in-character "letter" from a character on that list. Then they post their own list in their journal and the process continues!

And to make it more fun, keep your username anonymous! (if you wanna.  Don't care much bout this one)

Ok, and here's the Nella list-o-fandoms:  Zim (DIB!!), Discworld, Lord of the Rings, anything Disney I've gone cracky about (i.e. Hercules, Sleeping Beauty, Great Mouse Detective etc), FMA, Firefly, Wizard of Oz, Narnia, V for Vendetta, House M.D...and others.  That's all I can think of right now.  Or, you could, you know, surprize me.  ^_^   *Waits with bated breathe*
